Udkast til et lovforslag, som indeholder forenklinger i nogle af udlændingelovens erhvervsordninger – bl.a. i forhold til kravet om dansk bankkonto – har været sendt i høring. Reglerne forventes at træde i kraft den 1. juli 2024.
Dom fra Højesteret: 120-dagesreglen – sygemelding, raskmelding, sygemelding
En medarbejder kunne ikke opsiges efter funktionærlovens 120-dagesregel, fordi opsigelsen skete mere end 10 kalenderdage efter udløbet af den 120. sygedag, selvom medarbejderen på opsigelsestidspunktet kun havde modtaget løn under 123,17 sygedage inden for de seneste 12 måneder.

Folketinget har nu vedtaget et lovforslag, der bl.a. skal fokusere Arbejdstilsynets tilsynsindsats ved at forenkle reaktionstyperne og virkemidlerne.
Genindførelse af bagatelgrænser for udbetaling af uhævede feriemidler mv. – lovforslag vedtaget
Folketinget har nu vedtaget det lovforslag, der bl.a. genindfører automatisk udbetaling af uhævede feriemidler efter bagatelgrænseregler ved ferieafholdelsesperiodens afslutning eller ansættelsesforholdets ophør.

The first Tuesday of October marked the start of the new parliamentary year and, in the usual way, the Government introduced its legislative programme for the parliamentary year 2024/2025.
Double discrimination against part-time workers
The ECJ recently found that a provision in a German collective agreement on overtime pay potentially violated the prohibition of discrimination against part-time employees as well as the prohibition of discrimination on grounds of gender.

According to the assessment of the Data Protection Agency, there were no grounds for the Agency to initiate a case against a municipality based on the establishment of a reference register.
