Almost a year ago, the Framework Agreement on cross-border telework was signed by several European countries, allowing employees upon certain conditions to work remotely abroad from their country of residence for up to 49.9 % of their time, without affecting the applicable social security legislation. This solution combines the interests of workers, employers and social security institutions to face the reality of telework. How is this going and are more flexible rules in the pipeline?
