Legal Intern

As a legal intern at Norrbom Vinding, you will have the chance to test your skills on real issues within labour and employment law. We handle cases and projects for some of Denmark’s most interesting private and public-sector clients, and as a legal intern you will be actively involved in our cases and projects

During your Bachelor's studies, your primary task will be to assist our junior associates and associates with the management of cases and projects on a day-to-day basis. This means, among other things, that you will conduct information searches, prepare memos and perform other legal assignments. The assignments will complement your studies and give you a chance to develop your theoretical and practical skills.

As a Master’s student, you will work more closely with our associates on specific cases and projects. The associates will actively involve you in the cases and projects from start to finish, and your learning curve will continuously increase. The goal is that you will eventually be assigned tasks similar to those performed by our junior associates. This includes assisting with the drafting of pleadings and generally having a great deal of responsibility. Of course, you will always have the opportunity to regularly discuss issues with your colleagues when needed. You will also have the opportunity to attend meetings with clients and in court. You can also take part in our internal training programmes and you will of course be included in all our social activities.

We are committed to ensuring that our legal interns receive an excellent education, both with us and at university. We are therefore very flexible in the planning of our legal interns’ working hours during semesters as well as exam periods.

In addition to the above, we offer our legal interns:

  • Competitive salary on par with larger law firms
  • Paid course books

  • Participation in in-house training activities
  • Possibility of leave in connection with studies abroad

“I joined Norrbom Vinding because I wanted to work with the most knowledgeable lawyers in the country within labour and employment law and thereby elevate my own professional skills.

At Norrbom Vinding, you work closely with the lawyers in connection with a variety of cases and processes. The learning curve is steep, and I’ve had the opportunity to put theory learnt at university into practice. At the same time, there is a lot of respect for your education, and you get the chance to discuss with colleagues and have time off for exams. I really appreciate that.

We have a flat organisational structure and there’s room for everyone. This means that there’s a really strong sense of community. You’re included in social activities across the firm, and internal events are organised just for the legal interns too. As legal interns, we also have a close relationship with the junior associates, both socially and professionally, for example in the form of discussions and dialogue.”
