The Government’s legislative programme 2019/2020

True to tradition, the new legislative year was launched on the first Tuesday of October when the Government announced its legislative programme for 2019/2020.

The Government recently announced its legislative programme for the new parliamentary year. The legislative programme contains a list of the bills that the Government expects to introduce during the parliamentary year.

The measures that are particularly relevant for the field of labour and employment law concern the right to early retirement, jobs on flexible terms, the issuing of tax cards to third-country nationals, annulment of the (adopted) repeal of taxation of free telephone and internet as well as amendment of

  • the Act on Social Pensions
  • the Sickness Benefits Act
  • the Working Environment Act
  • the Industrial Injury Insurance Act
  • the Money Laundering Act
  • the Financial Business Act
  • the Aliens Act
