The latest edition of the Workplace Privacy Update explores developments in employee monitoring and surveillance, data subject access rights and standards on data retention across various countries. From Norrbom Vinding, Elsebeth Aaes-Jørgensen and Selma Carøe have contributed to the publication in the form of a short article on a decision from the Danish Data Protection Agency about a company that had unlawfully accessed a former employee’s personal email account and downloaded emails for the purpose of securing evidence.
