Charlotte specialises in competition law, merger control, FDI, state aid and ESG regulation with a focus on assisting clients in navigating regulatory requirements and translating them into practical solutions that fit the commercial context. She advises on day-to-day issues as well as complex cases and has experience in representing companies before the Danish and European competition authorities and courts. The experience that Charlotte has gained from her work in law firms, in-house roles at international companies and at a competition authority gives her a 360-degree perspective on managing regulatory risks.

- was in charge of handling competition law compliance for the VELUX Group across more than 25 jurisdictions, including key markets in Europe and North America, and partnered with key stakeholders to design and adapt strategic initiatives to ensure competition law compliance while supporting the commercial strategy
- assisted companies in merger control processes, including coordination of multi-jurisdictional notifications to competition authorities
- advised companies on ESG regulation by providing an overview of regulatory requirements, identifying material risks and supporting practical implementation, e.g. through screening mechanisms for environmental claims in marketing material
- represented the European Commission in litigation concerning state aid for the Fehmarn Belt link brought by the Danish state before the Court of Justice of the European Union
