Ius Laboris recently published the latest edition of the publication ”Ius Laboris Workplace Data Privacy Update”. The data privacy landscape is changing fast and with significant developments worldwide. This edition explores recent developments in data protection across 21 countries, including record-breaking fines, court rulings and sanctions across multiple countries, shaping the evolving landscape of workplace data privacy. Elsebeth Aaes-Jørgensen and Selma Carøe have contributed to the publication in the form of a short article about a recent judgment concerning the question of whether an employer had disclosed an employee’s health information. The publication is free of charge and can be downloaded here.
Ius Laboris currently counts 1500 lawyers in 56 countries, all highly specialised in labour and employment law. The alliance recently welcomed a new member firm in Austria when our highly skilled and long-time colleague Birgit Vogt-Majarek joined the firm Burgstaller & Preyer Rechtsanwälte. We are of course happy to continue working with Birgit and her team. Moreover, we are pleased to welcome Perez del Castillo & Asociados as the new member firm in Uruguay.
