IP law can seem very lofty sometimes. But, actually, it is always about something concrete. The IP lawyer’s challenge is therefore to look beyond the law to understand the substance of the matter. That is always an exciting challenge and it makes me happy to work on matters that enhance my commercial and legal skills – a combination which also benefits the client.

I advise on all aspects of intellectual property law, but my areas of special interest are:

• Patent litigation and advice
• IP contracts, including employment-related IP
• Interim injunctions in IP infringements
• IP competition law

• worked with IP matters in Group Legal on a secondment at FLSmidth A/S
• drafted and negotiated contracts for the production and broadcasting of the main part of a new Danish-language television channel’s programming
• assisted a cosmetics company with terminating an exclusive distribution agreement
• held exams in Intellectual Property Law at the Copenhagen Business School
